Cuisine Solutions Signature Sous Vide: Culinary Brand Video
Cuisine Solutions built the science behind sous vide cooking and has been supplying Michelin-starred restaurants and airlines for decades. Their Signature Sous Vide retail line brings that same precision to the home cook. Eagle Wing Productions made the brand video that connects those two worlds.
About the Client: Cuisine Solutions
Cuisine Solutions is a food manufacturer headquartered in Sterling, Virginia, and one of the largest premium sous vide producers in the world. They supply major airlines, hotel chains, military feeding programs, and Michelin-starred restaurants, and hold a portfolio of patents around industrial sous vide cooking.
What sets Cuisine Solutions apart from other prepared-meal brands is that they own the science, not just the method. Dr. Bruno Goussault, the researcher who pioneered the modern sous vide method in 1971, serves as their Chief Scientist and appears on camera in the finished video. Any credible brand piece for Cuisine Solutions had to honor that history while still selling a product you'd find at the grocery store.

The Challenge
Three things needed to be true at once:
- First: the piece had to reach both the home shopper scanning social media and the professional chef evaluating a supplier. Both audiences have completely different standards for what makes a food brand credible. One video, both audiences.
- Second: the sous vide science story had to land without lecturing. Cuisine Solutions' credibility rests on the customer understanding this isn't just prepared food, it's prepared food with a Chief Scientist behind it. That's a meaningful claim, and it had to feel that way without the video turning into an explainer.
- Third: the food still had to look worth eating. No amount of scientific credibility makes up for a product shot that doesn't make you hungry. Every dish had to earn its place in the timeline.
Our Approach to the Production
Eagle Wing Productions structured the video around three intercut threads: the chef-scientist testimonial for credibility, product cinematography for appetite appeal, and process footage of the sous vide equipment itself for the precision message. The layers were designed to work in any order, so a viewer who dropped in mid-video could still follow the story.
Creative Direction
Chef and scientist voices from within Cuisine Solutions carry the message rather than voiceover. The video references the 1971 origin of the sous vide method, the way products are developed by chefs, and how the vegan and indulgent product lines both fit into the everyday-use category. Those specifics came from the client and are not something that could have been scripted from the outside.
Around the testimonials, the food coverage delivers the appetite-forward beats. Each product category had dedicated coverage so the finished cut could feature all three without the piece feeling like a catalog rundown.
Filming and Equipment
Product and process work was done in a controlled kitchen studio. A Breville PolyScience immersion circulator runs on camera at 65.8 degrees Celsius, a temperature chosen because it reads as specific and technical without requiring narration to explain what it means. Environmental portraits for the on-camera talent were set up so the background reads as kitchen-adjacent rather than as a neutral interview backdrop.

Post-Production and Editing
The edit moves to a music-forward pace, with each product hero shot landing on a beat. The score lifts the appetite appeal without stepping on the testimonial audio. Color grading pushes warmth and saturation on food shots and holds cooler neutral tones in the kitchen and equipment footage, so the products feel visually dominant throughout.
The Result
Cuisine Solutions received a brand video for their website, YouTube channel, retail partner co-marketing, and social channels. The finished piece opens with process footage and sous vide equipment, weaves in the Dr. Goussault testimonial and the 1971 origin of the method, and closes on plated food and packaging.
The video positions Signature Sous Vide as the retail entry point to a category Cuisine Solutions has owned commercially for decades, and gives professional buyers a piece they can use alongside the same brand's food-service materials without a mismatch in tone.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How long does it take to produce a food industry brand video? - A typical food industry brand video runs six to ten weeks from creative kickoff to final delivery. The timeline includes creative direction, food styling and menu planning, a studio shoot day (sometimes two), and an edit and revision cycle. Projects with multi-city talent shoots or additional product photography deliverables extend that window.
- What is different about producing a video for a sous vide or prepared-meal brand? - Sous vide and prepared-meal brands sell on two axes at once: taste appeal and technical credibility. The video has to make the food look worth buying and the process look worth trusting. That means intercutting product cinematography with process footage of the actual cooking method, and giving on-camera space to a chef or food scientist who can carry the credibility layer.
- Do you handle food styling in-house? - Yes. Eagle Wing Productions brings food styling into the pre-production phase, so the way each dish reads on camera is planned before shoot day rather than fixed on set. Food styling is one of the areas where production companies without food and beverage video production experience tend to lose the shot.
- Can you produce a brand video that works for both retail and food-service audiences? - Yes, and this Cuisine Solutions project is the case in point. The finished video plays to home shoppers on retail-facing surfaces and to professional food-service buyers on B2B channels without a separate edit. The approach is to build the piece around a credibility hook (like a chef or scientist testimonial) that reads as premium to both audiences, and to keep product beauty shots at a quality standard that would not look out of place on a Michelin-adjacent brand piece.
- Can this production style adapt to my food or beverage brand? - Yes. The Cuisine Solutions case study is the template for premium food and beverage video production: chef-led or expert-led testimonial, controlled kitchen or studio product coverage, and a music-driven edit that treats each hero shot as a beat. That framework adapts to CPG food brands, beverage brands, restaurant groups, hospitality operators, and specialty food producers.
